“To Sherry Beck and the Management of the Holiday Inn Rapid City, I want to express my sincere thanks and kudos to the entire staff at the Holiday Inn. Dealing with a large group of people, let alone their dogs (and lots of them) is always a challenge. From the moment of my check in, to my check out the staff were welcoming, helpful and easy to work with. I work for Stonebridge Companies, in our Design and Construction Department, (management co of the DIA HI and HIX) and while I was not travelling on business, I still know a great team when I see it. I want to highlight the easy way Dave Heard along with other staff and their willingness to work with our group made my stay exceptional. After a very long day, the evening's event was running very late and many people had not eaten. One enterprising member of our group asked Dave if the restaurant would be open when we adjourned close to 10 pm. He quickly assessed the situation and arranged for it to do so. “I just wanted to thank you and your staff for such a wonderful event! It went perfectly! You were great to work with and I appreciate you accommodating our last minute needs. Our bartenders, Dawn and Heidi, did a great job, Matt (I think that was his name) and his team, Richard, and others did a great job getting the room set up quickly for us. I was more than impressed by all of the staff and service we received this week at the Holiday Inn. Even the omelet guy was fabulous! Please pass on my appreciation!

“Rented 11 Rooms and the Presidental suite. We were treated like royality. A+ service from prior to arrival, to check out. Nicest facilty in Rapid City, great bar, great resturant, great staff. If you stay anywhere else when in the Black Hills you are making a big mistake.

“What a wonderful stay I had this summer! I stayed at this hotel for several days as I attended a conference in the hotel's ballroom and breakout rooms. I arrived VERY late at night (literally, the airport locked up behind me as I left), and the manager on duty came himself to pick me up (the hotel offers a shuttle to the airport). He was extremely polite, made me feel very welcome and set the tone for the rest of the stay.“

“I haven't stayed at a Holiday Inn in years. My family, my sister and great niece decided to stay here for 3 nights. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly. The lobby is beautiful. It has glass elevators and plants cascading up the walls. The kids thought it was exclusive and were mesmorized by it all. Our room was on the 3rd floor, a corner room. I was surprised at how roomy it acutually was. We asked for a cot and still had extra room. The pool and hottub were very nice also. I really found the location of this hotel to be convienent for the attractions we wanted to see. There are plenty of restuarants and shopping places this area. I would stay there again! Thankyou!“

“Each morning I stopped in the gift shop for my morning coffee. The lady working there is excellent!! Very friendly. She made sure I had Highlander Grogg coffee and a yogurt! She is definitely an asset to your business!“

“we go to hockey lots and we choose to stay here becuase it is nove and close; also being in the hotel business i appreciate the respect and treatment that i get with our service quality and rate. just a thank you to all your employees they do a great job and are all very nice. especially dave he always remembers me and makes a point to stop and say hi.“

“I was treated very well from the minute i walked in, as was my daughter. we came to watch a hockey game on new years eve and found a great "family" environment for me and my nine year old to ring in the new year together. I tend to stay in hotels more for location than for brand, but when in Rapid City I'll go out of my way to stay here. ps the lady working in the coffee/gift shop was great. Wish i would have written down her name.“

“Didnt stay there but went to all you can eat prime rib and crab legs on a friday. The food was outstanding and worth every penny. After striking out all over in rapid city, crappy food every where we threw caution to the wind and looked for a treat. Thank you to the holiday inn for actually giving a consumer a meal worth actually paying a little extra for. Good job.“
